I was able to put my new camera (Sony Handycam) to some good use this week. The quality could be much better if I was able to convert the DVD to MPEG. I’m still learning.
Unfortunatley I was unable to get the name of the woman who caught the fish or her guide. I recorded the footage on 07/6/07. The last I heard the fish went 13.05.
If any of you out there recognize the poeple in the video ( if its possible) please leave their names in the comment section. I think they would both appreciate the recognition.
Sorry the quality is low. Still….I think you get the point.
UPDATE: I should have noted I was at Lake Fork Marina when I shot the video.
UPDATE: I just got this in my comments section – Hi Richard, I’m the “bad a$$ woman” who caught the 13.04 on Lake Fork on 7/06/07. My son, Zach Hughes, was my guide…and yes…I did catch with live perch…it was quite a day!! I caught a 7+ shortly before hanging the big girl…and Zach’s fiance caught a 10+ during the same trip. Thanks for the video…I have enjoyed watching it! My name is Carolyn Hughes ~ Plano, Texas. Zach certainly knows how to show his mom a great time fishing!
AWESOME!!

Awesome!
I was hoping you were going to be able to come by and see the video. Sorry the quality is so crappy but I just got the camera and when you upload to youtube it makes everything look bad. However I still have the clean version on disk and it looks great.
Hope you enjoyed the video.
best,
